As an example: the file name may be "1GHZcorrect.ini".
For a correction of 10-1000MHz, every 1 MHz.

Start=10
End=1000
Step=1
FrequencyFactor=1000000
Type= Correctionfactor
Step10Factor= 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9;10
Step20Factor= 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9;10

This is clearly a lot of work and many data points. Is there a limit to the data file size?
Is there any interpolation used in LCS to limit the need for many correction points?
Where should the ini file be located, posibly in the directory of the .exe file?
Will this data selection be shown in LCS "Calibration" window?

There is no limit but 1MHz steps seem a little bit as a overkill. 20MHz or 50MHz steps should do it.
There is no interpolation, this would be no good idea at LO switching points :-)
The .ini file must be placed in the same sub directory as the LCS exe-file but you cant use a own .ini file:
You will have to enter your correction data in the attenuator.ini or cable.ini file and then select it in the LCS.
A custom .ini file like your suggested "1GHZcorrect.ini" will not show up for selection in the LCS.
