SPECTRAN NF 5035: switch OFF beeping on LOGGER function?

Postby tonizg » Wednesday 9. November 2016, 20:29

Dear Sirs,

My question:
Q1: SPECTRAN NF 5035: Is there a way to switch OFF beeping after function "Logger" on SPECTRAN device is activated?

from manual "SPECTRAN-NF_EN.pdf" (Rev 1.33 EN 14.03.2013):
"
After setting “FILEId“, the memory status field will show “RECORD“ and the logger is „armed“. Press the menu button again, and the recording will start. After each recorded event, the remaining number of events to record will be displayed briefly in the pixel display (counter) to estimate how long the recording will take. Furthermore, a short beep will be emitted each time when an event is recorded. When recording is finished, “RECORD“ will disappear from the memory status field.
"
Best regards,

Not without modifying the logging routine on the device itself, or disabling the speaker completely.
