An issue with static magnetic 3D sensor

Postby Sfera » Monday 18. June 2012, 18:26

Hello,

Recently, I have bought NF-5035 with options 006 and 005. I have an issue: i use a static sensor in 3D mode and when i rotate the device in the same place i get different values. Why does it happen? After some experiments i have noticed that the values depend from poles, but i am not sure.

Sorry for my bad english.

You would need to zero the static sensor with our Zero Gauss Chamber otherwise all 3 axis are uncalibrated and so you dont get a stable 3D value if you turn the unit.
